The Prodintec Foundation has been one of the first Spanish Technology Centres to implant an integrated Management System in compliance with standards UNE 166002 and UNE EN-ISO 9001. To do so, Prodintec has developed IDiNet in collaboration with the firm Futuver as an integrated computerised R&D and Quality management solution. This solution is applicable to other Technology Centres, Public Administrations and firms that wish to ensure the success of their R&D.

The above system, which has obtained AENOR certification in the form of certificates ER-1246/2005 and IDI-0014/05, enables the Prodintec Foundation to efficiently carry out the management and execution of research, development and innovation (R&D) projects and services in the areas of product design and production technologies.

The purpose of the Prodintec Foundation is “to boost the competitiveness of (mainly Asturian) industrial firms by applying technological advances both to products and their manufacturing processes”.

The Prodintec Foundation has decided to implant a Management System in compliance with standards UNE 166002 and ISO 9001 (in its latest version) in order to ensure that the projects and services that it develops respond to its corporate purpose, to the indications of the Board of Trustees, and to its clients’ demands, as well as to the pertinent legal and regulatory requirements.

The fundamental principles of this System emanate from the statutes of the Prodintec Foundation and are based on the following guidelines:

• Efficiency in the management and development of projects and services.
• The commitment, motivation and capacity of its staff.
• The fulfilment of the established goals for each project or service as well as those related to the management system.
• To achieve the satisfaction of our clients by improving their competitiveness.
• Equipping our facilities with cutting-edge technologies.

In this way, the Prodintec Foundation seeks continuous improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of its Management System as well as of all other interested parties.
