The next meeting of the European RM Platform will be held in Asturias (Spain) on the 15-16th April 2008, kindly hosted by PRODINTEC. Everyone is kindly invited, where you will have the chance to extend your knowledge about RM business opportunities and to establish new collaborations with companies working in the field.

SCOPE

This event will take place in Gijón (Asturias) on 15-16 April 2008. Participants will have the opportunity to extend their knowledge of Rapid Manufacturing and also to establish new collaborations with companies working in the field with a view of creating business opportunities that take advantage of this exciting area of technology. Key policy makers will be in attendance from across industry, European Commission, Regional Government, and MANUFUTURE.


GENERAL INFORMATION

Workshop (Day 15th) This one day workshop takes place the day before the Platform meeting and is organized in collaboration with the Custom-Fit consortium. It will draw together experts from across Europe with the aim of increasing the adoption of Rapid Manufacturing technologies. Top-level speakers including SIEMENS, INDO, DELCAM, microTEC, SINTEF, BERENSCHOT Group, AIJU, IBV, University of PATRAS, and PRODINTEC will provide current perspectives of RM from a business point of view.
RM Platform Meeting (Day 16th) This event invitation is open to anyone (FREE OF CHARGE) with an interest in Rapid Manufacturing, whether registered as a platform stakeholder or not. Key to this will be a workshop for attendees aimed at creating business initiatives on a regional and national level. There will also be an update on FP7, the recently approved projects and the progress of the Platform to date.
