Applying the Lean Manufacturing philosophy in companies of any size in any industry sector so as improve productivity, detecting and eliminating wastage in the production process, improving quality and reducing manufacturing times and costs, defining optimal plant layouts and designing workstations on the basis of criteria such as productivity and ergonomics

To meet these goals, PRODINTEC carries out the following activities:

  • Diagnosis of a firm`s production process using the GAP methodology developed at PRODINTEC, subsequently identifying and implementing improvements based on Lean Manufacturing techniques to boost productivity without the need to acquire new equipment
  • Defining plant layouts that minimize wastage associated with transport, movement, stocks, downtime, overproduction, defects, etc.
  • Simulating the behaviour of an industrial process under different circumstances so as to analyse possible changes and their consequences before carrying them out
  • Simulating a workstation to obtain a detailed analysis, optimise parameters such as the distance to and location of resources and validation of the workstation from the point of view of ergonomics
